CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

ANGELA DING

Hi, my name is Angela Ding, and I’m a senior at Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. From a young age, I have been passionate about the fine arts, beginning dance at age 4 and piano at age 5. These experiences shaped my appreciation for the power of the arts to inspire, connect, and uplift communities. In founding KAKE for Youth, my goal was to create a space where young people could explore and share their artistic talents while making a meaningful impact.

CO-FOUNDER, VICE PRESDIENT

KATELYN HU

Hi, my name is Katelyn Hu, a junior at the Village High School. I have always found joy in participating in activities such as dance, debate, and volunteering. Through these activities I realized that I want to expose them more and more to our communities as it is so important to spread understanding and address problems in our community that may be overlooked. When founding KAKE for Youth, my goal is to provide opportunities for those who may not get to experience opportunities others may get. Through our organization I hope to not only educate and encourage people around us to join our organization, but also feel like they have another safe haven to confide in and connect through our organization. Most importantly, I hope to have everyone who participates in our organization to leave with a smile on their faces!
